Walter Grätsch GmbH is a family-run business that has been operating in the ship repair sector for over 50 years. We repair and overhaul steering systems and bow thrusters from various well-known manufacturers.
We are currently looking for a permanent member to join our office team.
Your responsibilities
- Managing the entire process from quotation preparation to order fulfilment, including customer communication and coordination of deliveries
- Scheduling technicians, including the necessary preparations
- Organising the timely provision of goods, managing the dispatch process and issuing invoices
- Liaising with customers and suppliers
- Procuring materials in a cost-effective manner to meet requirements, whilst adhering to deadlines and budgets
- Checking incoming goods, monitoring stock movements and managing stock levels in a structured manner
- Maintaining and updating product, customer and supplier data in the ERP system to support efficient processes
- Handling customer complaints
Your profile
- A completed commercial apprenticeship combined with a strong technical aptitude and relevant experience in a technical environment
- Professional experience in purchasing or sales
- Proficiency in the standard Microsoft Office suite and in inventory management systems
- Good written and spoken English
- A structured and independent approach to work
